LAYTON — At least two people are in “very serious” condition following a Tuesday crash in Layton, according to police.
The crash was first reported just after 3 p.m. on state Route 193, also known as 3000 North, at Fairfield Road, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
As of 3 p.m., the eastbound lanes of Route 193 are closed, UDOT said. The road is closed from Fort Lane to Fairfield Road, and people are asked to use an alternate route, police said.
The crash scene is estimated to be cleared by about 4 p.m.
No further information about the crash was immediately available.
